Niger Delta University 300L Student Shares story of how he was robbed recently (photo)

The rate of criminal activities at night at Amassoma where the Niger Delta University reside is getting out of control.
Every night you will hear one situation or another involving crime such as robbery, attacks and rape.
Last night a student of the university was attacked at his home according to him he said:
I was sleeping at exactly 2:00 am I heard voices before I could realise what was happening they broke in. Some other boys where outside breaking bottles while I was trying to shout they threatened me with a gun, they stole my pocket money and my plasma TV, one of the robbers was shouting “Let’s kill him” but the other said they should leave me. They tied my mouth & hands and left, no harm was done to me, i thank God. I can recognise those boys supposing I see them someday.
Students are currently unsecure at their homes due to the current rate of crimes in the community

We are pleading with the government to do something as soon as possible to eradicate the present crime rate.
