Arsenal FC have reached an agreement with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over personal terms, according to The Mirror UK who reports that it is now up to Borussia Dortmund whether or not he leaves the club this month.
Arsene Wenger's side want to sign the Gabon striker as a replacement for the unsettled Alexis Sanchez, who appears to have Manchester United as his destination this window after Man City backed out of the race to sign him.
Reports earlier today claimed Aubameyang had handed in a transfer request ahead of a proposed £54million transfer.
The 28-year-old was left out of Dortmund’s squad to face Wolfsburg on Saturday after he skipped a team meeting and reports in Germany claim relations between the striker and his club appear to have floundered in recent weeks, with boss Peter Stoger speaking of tensions after dropping Aubameyang at the weekend.
Stoger said: "It was a relatively important session that he stayed away from, which showed me that he is not so focused. He was surprised, did not quite notice it for himself. But for us it was a clear case.

"The session was clearly announced in WhatsApp groups that are today on tablets. If he is not there, someone else is playing, who is totally focused."
With Aubameyang's relationship with his club now strained, Arsenal are hoping to clinch a deal for the 28-year-old in the next week.
Arsenal are said to have offered Olivier Giroud to Dortmund in a bid to soften the blow of losing Aubameyang, as well as £30m.
