Report: Sanchez agrees four-year PSG contract

Arsenal and Chilean star Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed a four-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.

It’s claimed that the Arsenal forward and his representative met with PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique in Paris this week to discuss a deal.

And Le Parisien as per The Metro reports that both parties have agreed on a contract which will run until 2021, and is believed to be worth in the region of £275,000 a week.

The report also claims that PSG are confident of reaching an agreement with Arsenal and will be able to convince Arsene Wenger with an offer of €40 million (£36m).

Sanchez has refused to extend his current deal with Arsenal, which has only one year remaining, and has revealed that he wants to play for a team in the Champions League.

Manchester City have also made the signing of the Chile international one of their top priorities.

When asked about Sanchez’s potential move to PSG after Arsenal’s 3-0 defeat to Chelsea in Beijing on Saturday, Wenger replied: "It’s only media imagination.’

And when asked if he would allow Sanchez to leave for a team outside of the Premier League, Wenger said: "No, it doesn’t make any difference."
