Tragedy has befalls the Federal University Of Otueke As Evans Ebuka a 100 level student in the department of Economics and Development Studies Dies In Otuoke River this m Saturday evening.
The ugly incident occurred while he and his friends were swimming at a river along Azikel road which is very close to School Administrative Block.
Evans who joined other students to swim drowned after few mintues of swimming.
The young In-take of Fuotuoke couldn't be saved before the School Health Emergency Service came.
The Health team however confirmed him dead.
According to one of the students who spoke to Primebrains.com.ng said before Evans left the hostel he asked him not to go but young Evans insisted that he will go.
We also gathered that the young man had just paid his fees and was getting ready for his matriculation on 11th of February (next month).
