Juventus Mocked Over New Badge Design on Twitter (see tweets)

Juventus’ decision to radically redesign their badge has created a storm of criticism with fans furious at the abandoning of their traditional crest in favour of a modern, minimalist look.

Despite the club insisting that the new badge ‘captures Juventus’ DNA aesthetics’ and roping in model Emily Ratajkowski to the launch event (which was held, bizarrely, in m Milan), it seems that supporters are not impressed.

Reaction on social media to the new design, which features a white letter J (stylised to look like half a shield) on a black background, ranged from angry and bewildered to open mocking. ‘What the f*** have you m done Juventus,’ wrote one Twitter user, called Jordan.

‘The new #juventus logo looks like something Pogba would have shaved into his head,’ said another user, Leggeman. ‘Tragic,’ he added.

‘Who ever had the idea to change the Juventus badge and pick that new one, needs deporting from Italy,’ said Wayne Saunders.

CrypticCheddar added that ‘that new Juventus logo looks like an A-level student’s personal.brand mark’.

One other user went so far as to say ‘honestly if I was a Juventus fan I couldn’t be able to live anymore. This is so disgusting.’
