Niger Delta University Ends 4 months old strike releases new academic calender for 2015/16 Academic Session (see photo)

The Niger Delta University has officially announced a date for resumption, in a memo circulated today 24th, the university is set to
resume as follows:

• Friday 2nd September- Arrival of students.
• Monday 5th September – Lectures/ Revision for all students.
• Friday September 9th – Lecture Ends.
• Saturday 10th September – Matriculation.• Friday 16th September – Exams for Faculty of Education.
• Monday 19th ~ 23rd September – GST Exams.
• Monday September 26th ~ Oct 14th – Exams for all Faculties.
• October 17th ~ 21st – One week semester break.
Sandwich students are also to resume September 2nd.

While second semester is to commence from October 24th 2016, convocation holds March 2017.
