Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri will this Thursday, 25th February 2021 declare open a one-day training programme for members of the State Government New Media Team.
The theme of the training programme is : “Effective public Information Management as catalyst for Development in a digital age” and would be delivered by Dr. Christopher Ochonogor, a senior lecturer in Development Communication in the Department of Linguistics and Communication, University of Port Harcourt.
A statement by the Director, New Media to the Governor, Mr. Kola Oredipe says that the Commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Ayiba Duba, will be the Guest of Honour.
The event which is exclusively for members of the new media team is scheduled for 9am at the Conference Hall, Golden Tulip, Onopa, Yenagoa.
The training will also feature sessions on creative writing, press photography, personal branding/reputation management as well as team building in public information management.
