It's no longer a news that the current natural disaster has taken over Niger Delta University, NDU and the host community Amassoma.
The disaster has led to the shut down of the school for the past weeks now, academic activities are on hold currently.
PBTV reported earlier that the management has ordered all students of the institution to resume on the 22nd of October 2018.

Today the vice chancellor of the university Prof. Samuel Gowon Edoumiekumo accompanied by the Dean of student affairs and other personalities from the management were seen surveying the school premises.
The vice chancellor further calls on the state Government to come to the aid of the university.
Recall that PBTV recently published that the Niger Delta University might not be resuming soon because of the flood that has covered the campus.

Up till now we ain't certain if the management will resume academic activities on the said resumption date as the environment is not yet fit for learning process.
