Niger Delta University, NDU Not Resuming Anytime Soon

PBTV recently published that the Niger Delta University, NDU suspended her lectures for 2nd semester 2017/2018 session due to the ongoing natural disaster (flood).

The decision of the postponement was made at the committee of provost and Deans meeting on the 3rd of October 2018 that all lectures should be suspended till further notice and School was scheduled to resume on the 22nd of October 2018.

According to PBTV survey in the school today, we are uncertain of the institution resuming anytime soon as the school is still heavily flooded with water.
PBTV also took a survey round the host community of the institution (Amassoma), many houses have been swallowed and destabilized  by the natural disaster. Students have frowned at the decision of the school resuming because the town is still heavily flooded.

People who stay off campus cannot come to class and even the once in campus hostel cannot attend classes because of the flood.

Just last week several snakes were killed at the school and town at large. Today a mysterious fish was seen in the town.
